Change is inevitable, especially in the holidays when you think of one year rolling to an end and next one hammering at your door. So why wait for change when you can bring it upon yourself?
What We Celebrated: Changes!
Self-induced change is the best! It’s just another way to say self-improvement. Some members of STATUS felt like they needed a change, so what do we do? Get new hair cuts! I got mine at the photoshoot fabulous Jing Monis Salon in Bellevue, Alabang. If the name sounds familiar, then its probably because you’ve read that name a ton of times in our directory. You might also have seen your fave stars rockin’ some of their styles on TV or in the glossies. Well to show how awesome they are, they gave me a free pampering which included a deep treatment to smooth out my rebellious locks (and believe me, in this case rebellious is not just a pretty turn of phrase but the harsh truth) and a couple of highlights to herald in the New Year.
I won’t scare you guys with the before pics, so bear with me.

What We Caroled:
“Changes” by David Bowie
“Time may change me/but I can’t change time”
“What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” (cover) by Zooey Deshcanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt
“1983″ by Neon Trees
What We Wish:
A haircut isn’t the biggest change you can make. You can go bigger (like moving to a foreign country) or smaller (shifting from a grande to a tall for your morning coffee order), but the thing is to welcome it. Not all change is good, but change is gonna come no matter what you do. If something new comes along, just go with it and see where it takes you. If it works, then good for you. If it doesn’t, then at least it will make for a good story, right?
WTF:
We didn’t gorge on yummy food for once?! Say whut?—DEXYLEBOWSKI
