Familiar faces and new friends alike came to ogle the sixteen special collaborations on display at the Archaeology Gallery in Rockwell for 16 X 16, a 16th anniversary project by Young Star, Manila’s feistiest broadsheet. They’ve got the spunk of teendom, but with the spice of wisdom. Everyone there truly enjoyed the presentation of today’s hottest young talents. From rustic assemblages to post office-channeling collages and polaroid poetry, every work highlighted each individual artist’s style while also fusing each pair’s vision.
