It has been a very busy week at the big apple but start putting them heels back in their racks and pack-up the glitz because New York Fashion Week 2017 has come to an end. But just to give it a proper last hurrah, we dedicate our Tunesday to all the music loving fashionistas out there with a list of the most stylish videos over the years. Turn up the volume and go sissy that walk!
“Cranes in the Sky” – Solange
The first Knowles on our list, this video by Solange showed pastel, whites, and browns tied over the subtle and yet powerful depiction of sisterhood.
“M.I.L.F.$” – Fergie
What would you expect from a video that has Kim K., Chrissy Teigen, Devon Aoki, and Amber Valletta in it? This music video from Fergie is screaming of latex and colorful housewife duds that offers us enough kitsch that’s acceptable.
“Jump” – Kriss Kross
If you’re a dude who’s of that age that witnessed the release of this video, you’re lying if you’d say that you didn’t try wearing your pants backwards like how Chris and Chris did.
“Vogue” – Madonna
It’s probably a sin if you’re doing a playlist of stylish music videos and you omit Madonna. Every video of Queen M are stylish but of course “Vogue” tops it all. Giving you old Hollywood glam and the debut of the infamous cone bra.
“Formation” – Beyonce
Even though this music video was set up on flooded grounds and gritty setting, that didn’t take out the focus on Queen Bey and her crew. Ever the performer and always the fashionista, Beyonce and her dancers rocked Gucci, Fendi, and Alessandra Rich in this audiovisual mastery by director Melina Matsoukas.
“Supermodel” – RuPaul
The most glamorous drag queen that graced this planet, RuPaul is serving us legit supermodel looks in this music video. Girl got legs for days. We are envious. – THE D
