2017 has been quite the rollercoaster ride for brand collaborations, with announcements and surprise releases dropping almost every week. Blurring out the borders on street, sport, and skate brands with some luxe high-fashion labels, teaming up has become more flexible, producing the sickest items we never expected. And though we’re more than halfway through the year, it looks like there are still a lot in store for the coming season. Here are some rumored and unreleased fashion brand collabs that would most likely storm us before we wrap this good year up.
NAS x Supreme
If you thought Supreme is done with their collaboration quota for the year, then you thought wrong. New York City rapper Nas is rumoured to be partnering with the skate brand for a part of their Fall/Winter 2017 collection with a shirt printed with the rapper’s photo wearing a iconic box logo tee available in 8 colorways.
Kevin Hart x Nike
American comedian Kevin Hart is collaborating with Nike for two new colorways of the “Free Train Virtue” model tagged as “day” and “night” expected to be dropped this summer.
Balenciaga x Colette’s
Balenciaga x Colette’s takes utility to a luxurious new level with a line of sleeping masks, coffee mugs, and manicure services for a pop-up store collab along with a series of art exhibits and DIY services for shirts and hoodies.
Off-White x Champion
How dreamy can it get when Off-White mixes with Champion? Rumors started rolling in when British artist Skepta was spotted wearing a never-before-seen dark-green sweater with the iconic Champion logo on the chest and Off-White’s diagonal stripes on the sleeve. This has all been hearsay, but you can’t blame us for keeping our hopes up.
Thrasher x Vans
Sales are sure to fire up when the rumored Thrasher x Vans collab finally happens. Leaks show the iconic fiery Thrasher logo printed on the classics Slip-On & Sk8-Hi, and if these two skatewear gems push through, we’ll all be hands on deck for sure.
Pigalle x NikeLab
NikeLab, together with Pigalle, recently revealed their retro collection in time for the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Sumer 2017 season. The collection revamped the ’90s basketball court’s silhouettes with maroons, grays, and blues at its core. The set will be on sale by July 1 on select NikeLab accounts like blendsus.com.
Off-White x Vans
The expected collaboration of brands Off-White and Vans would drop a refurbished classic Old-Skool silhouette as seen on a released photo. Virgil Abloh redesigned the iconic skate kicks with numerous word and logo prints like “BLANK CANVAS” on the white side panelsas well as the Off-White arrow icon on the black midsole.
