Penshoppe is on a winning streak with their global growth and sold out collections. But one thing that has been grabbing everyone’s attention is the faces on their campaigns. The Filipino brand has been nabbing star-studded endorsers like Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Lucky Blue Smith, Cameron Dallas, and Kaia Gerber. To this date, no other brand on the planet has been able to lock in all these superstar names. Now with Bella Hadid joining the Penshoppe family, it almost seems too good to be true.
With the latest campaign shot on location in the arts district in downtown LA, I first spotted Bella skateboarding onto set after a quick change from the last layout. Having just flown in from Cannes Film Festival and I was in awe of Bella’s energy and playfulness on set. I asked her if she was feeling jetlagged, she said she was, but I swear it didn’t show. Layout after layout, you could see her move with ease and grace while making the clothes come alive.
Whether she was posing inside a vintage car or in front of a graffiti wall, you could see her modeling expertise kick in as she was after the perfect shot. When the shoot wrapped, I got to hang out with this girl with a porcelain face as she shared with me her must-haves, food obsessions, and beauty secrets. – R
