Knitwear designers like UK’s Craig Lawrence, who got into an interesting conversation with Lady Gaga in MTV, are doing some exciting things lately. One of them is Boas Kristjansson of Iceland who’s made his first collection for Spring 2010–entirely knit, literally seam-less pieces–here photographed by Damien Blottière.

“the colours are taken from various sources (nature, advertising, computer games), i try to set them up in a logical system … i link colours in a way that feels natural to me, as the light and colours in iceland have a vastness due to all the open space that is easy to observe … the low sun and the simple flora also make for very long gradients … this means that there aren’t really outstanding colours, they are all part of a system …”
