International premium beer brand HEINEKEN is taking a step towards the local culture scene with their newest collaboration with streetwear creative and Sole Slam founder Antonio Aguirre Jr. featuring the HEINEKEN STAR COLLECTION.
Paying homage and celebrating this abundant collaboration that promotes the culture scene, Heineken throws an exciting party last Mar. 22 at The Glass Space with DJ Tolo Marvelous spinnin’ on the booth and performances by hip-hop collective Bawal Clan. The whole venue was clad in green and tropic vibes designed to complement the lush creative of Antonio Aguirre’s take on Heineken’s streetwear merch.
“Globally, Heineken is known for collaborating with some of the hottest brands and putting its own fresh take on the biggest fashion trends,” says Chris Aguilar, group marketing manager of Heineken Philippines. Antonio Aguirre Jr. visualized Heineken’s streetwear, taking into consideration the versatility and lifestyle aspect of the brand—black and white tees, vivid touches of green prints, and even the accessibility of having a bag that can fit two Heineken bottles!
The exclusive launch party puts a spotlight on Filipino creatives inviting the biggest and most influential artists of the scene including—powerhouse DJs MVRXX X ALWYN, and Butta B; models Fabio Ide, Angela Martinez, and AsNTM’s Filipina rep Jach Manere; PURVEYR’s very own Marvin Conanan; local photographers Ed Enclona, and Migs Alomajan; and local artists including Roxanne Barcelo, Juancho Trivino, Ethan Salvador, Khalil Ramos, and more.
While we enjoy the flowing Heineken beer at the bar, here’s what went down the party:
