Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, The Strokes, and Interpol—these were just some of the bands that were at Coachella this year. But the music was not the only thing that we watched out for. If there’s another that makes this music festival so exciting, it’s the fashion. STATUS gives you the full report on standout celeb style at Coachella.
If you were one of those who weren’t at Indio, California this year, don’t fret. The wonders of technology allow us to watch the livestream of the festival performances. Plus there are photos of concertgoers, celebrities, non-celebs, and fashion industry folk alike, that show the signature hippie/boho style of Coachella. Thank God for the Internet, it has made living vicariously and expanding your fashion vocabulary so much easier.
Here are some of our favorite Coachella looks:

VANESSA HUDGENS – Floppy hat? Check. Feathers in her hair? Check. Fringe bag? Check. Ethnic print pants? Check. Boho overload? Maybe. But all the pieces are to die for.

DIANE KRUGER – One of the best Coachella looks, in our honest opinion. Nude maxi skirt. Black tank. Classic fedora. Canary yellow nails. She nailed it.

DITA VON TEESE – Only Dita can pull off that shirtdress and those cat-eye sunglasses. Never boring and always pulled together, she deviates from the standard Coachella hippie style but still maintains the playful fashion of the festival.

SHANNON DAVENPORT of FORTUNE FAVORS THE BRAVE – Donning the animal print du jour. Can’t go wrong in a leopard print jumpsuit.

HARLEY VIERA-NEWTON – It-girl of the moment with the It-bag of the moment. Gotta love Harley’s lace dress and that Celine bag.

PIERRA RENALDI of REFINERY 29 – Not your average take on the print on print trend. And remember, nails are the newest accessories. Pops of orange on your digits are a perfect finish to your summer outfit.

TALI LENNOX – This up-and-coming model shows the trademark off-duty model style of effortless cool in a sheer maxi dress, floppy hat, and boots combo. We ain’t mad at her kitschy chic crochet top too.

ELIN KLING - This blogger can rock denim cut-offs and beat up boots like no other. Where can you get legs like hers?

DOROTHEA JORGENSEN – Cropped tops are a perfect way to beat the heat. Keep it sophisticated with minimal accessories like this silver horn necklace.

ALESSANDRA AMBROSIO – Two of your summer must-haves, the little white dress, and a lightweight colorful scarf.

ELIZA DOOLITTLE – This British teen singing sensation shows us youthful West Coast-inspired style in a white cropped tee, printed shorts, funky sneaks, and a yummy mint green cross body bag.
So there you have it, people. Even if you’re not one of the lucky ones to witness the awesomeness of Coachella, you can cop their style and maybe next year you’ll be sitting on that grassy knoll waiting for the show to start.
