Long-established department store Rustan’s whips up a storm for the summer—a fashion storm, that is. More than just trendy clothes, they also have classic pieces and collections for shoppers of all ages with labels Jojie Lloren, Criselda Lontok, Oleg Cassini, Belle Mama. But the set that fits us to a T is their in-house brand for the youth: U.

Drawing inspiration from the music festival culture, the U collection is laced with light florals, pastels, straw hats, and sandals. These music festivals have long been almost a tradition abroad and is steadily gaining momentum locally, and beyond Coachella and Glastonbury, there’s also our own Malasimbo and the upcoming Manila Music Festival.  They’ve become not only celebrations of music and art, but for many, the festival grounds are their own runways.—DALLAS DEEPKISS
