One day down and one more to go. And if you’re like me, you spent most of this day making up for loss time and sleeping your ass off. And if the comparisson still stands and you’re as lazy as I am, all you wanna do tomorrow is vege out in front of the TV before you have to go back to the grind the day after, dreaming of the weekend to come.
Well, this’ll make that activity so much easier for you! Here are five series that you can marathon before the weekend ends!
Sherlock
The BBC certainly had marathons in mind when they made this little baby. With three episodes per season (and we’re up to 2 seasons so far) this modern day adaption of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes has the right amount of intensity and witty British humor to keep you occupied for hours. Warning though: once it does end you will be crying out to the great Steven Moffat for more. Guaranteed.
Arrested Development
Now that they’re releasing the long overdue fourth season, you may wanna catch up and relive the many mishaps of the Bluth family. My suggestion, go back to where it all started and watch the entire first season tomorrow. Save the second season for the next weekend. Or, hey, if you can’t wait that long, might as well trickle it down to the rest of your week.
Don’t Trust The B— In Apartment 23
God, I miss this show. The first season’s 7 episodes left everyone hanging and begging for more so while this is marathon is as achievable as putting your cheeks in a Beek, it should also come with a warning label that good things like this end way too soon! Good thing the second season is coming back this October 23. Hallelujah!
Firefly
Speaking of ending too soon, here’s a doozy that fans haven’t forgotten even ten years after the damned thing was canceled. The space cowboys of Serenity left too much of an impression on the unwitting audience that elevated it to cult status. As usual, the end of this series will have you wanting more, but luckily for you, fan outrage against the show’s cancellation actually resulted in enough support to make the movie sequel, Serenity. You can never keep a good Brown Coat down.
Wilfred
Last, but not the least on the list, is in honor of our beloved October 2012 cover, Elijah Wood. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE WATCH THIS SERIES! Seriously, if you love hobbits with hairy feet then you’ll love this hot mess with a hairy friend. Fast track yourself to season 2 and you’ll even treat yo’ self to a scene with Elijah dancing an adorable routine with man’s best friend.—DEXYLEBOWSKI
