Getting inked is common nowadays, and some of the most amazing body art usually begins with a concept and finding the right artist to bring this concept to life. Enter Sarah Gaugler, an illustrator, graphic designer, and the lead vocalist of the band Turbo Goth. She even does a little modeling and tattoo on the side–talk about dream girl!
Here’s your chance to get to know Sarah Gaugler (well, her art, at least).

In her exhibit this coming November 17 at Dead Lines and Tattoo Designs, Gaugler explores the juxtaposition between beauty and death; death signifying change, and beauty breathing life into her art. Making up this collection is a set of portraits and actual tattoos of otherworldly beings that represent the people she encounters daily.

Opening night is on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 8PM
