Esther Perbandt‘s S/S ’13 collection, Timber Wave, is rough but feminine with fragile wooden pieces, dangling gold chains, and holsters over a combination of soft and stiff materials. It’s a natural and basic palette of whites, creams, greys, blacks, dark blues, and touches of mustard. There are a lot of beautiful accessories, too, but the noteworthy piece in the collection is the wooden paneled bodice woven together with chains between the seams, and worn over a delicately sheer black gown.
