2012 is the year of the health-conscious. This has been very evident even at or own HQ. Our walls are plastered with weight loss diagrams and lists of food that we can’t and cannot eat. With Fashion Week coming in just a few months, we compel ourselves to stick to our diets in hopes of looking model-esque (sans the height, unfortunately.)
Forget the not feeding the models. You’ll be surprised by how much they love to eat just as much as the next person. But how do they stay in shape despite the food binges? Model Pauline Prieto dishes out on what she likes to chow and how she keeps the pounds off, proving to us all that you don’t need to starve to fit into skinny jeans or couture dresses. -LADYZAZA

What did you binge on before the year ended?
Pauline: I binge mostly on sweets. I love sweets
How do you plan to get rid of the holiday pounds?
P: GYM! We got to stay healthy.
Any 2012 health resolutions?
P: Even if I’m going to start hitting the gym and I’m a sucker for sweets I want to start eating healthier, you know? I want to feast on more organic food that’s less fried and more steamed.
If you could live with just one dish for the rest of your life, what would it be?
P: SALMON SASHIMI!
Chicken, beef, fish, or pork, what would you be?
P: I would be pork because nobody likes eating pork over beef, chicken, or fish. Hence, I will live longer.
What’s the one food indulgence you would never give up?
P: I waited months for an almond pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. I love pretzels too!
