Designers Sureen, Reshnee, and Neeresh Bhagwandas of DAS know that a woman can accomplish anything… given the right pair of shoes—even dressing to kill.
Spending every waking minute in sky-high heels, DAS designing sisters Sureen, Reshnee, and Neeresh Bhagwandas know full well what a pair of five-inchers feel at their worst. Anyone who’s seen their five to seven-inch masterpieces feel instantly intimidated by the sheer height, but you know what they say: the higher the heels the closer to God. Thus, they’ve made sure to keep DAS out of the torture scale. Instead, these heels will keep you dancing even if you’ve had them on for more than a day. Cross our hearts, hope to die.—DALLAS DEEPKISS

How often do you wear high heels, and just how high do you like ‘em?
They never come off! We wake up in heels, eat breakfast in heels, do the grocery in heels, and we end our day sleeping in heels. The higher the heels the closer to God.

“Fashion over comfort” aside, girls will agree that heels—regardless of designer or brand—hurt like hell. What’s your record for longest time wearing these little torture devices?
We put all our unreleased designs to our “12-hour test”. It’s where we walk, stand, jump, and run in them for 12 hours and if we could still dance after that then we know dolls all over the world can rock them without complaining. “Look ma, no blisters!”.

Where do you shop?
The three of us love to travel. Hong Kong would be the nearest city to hit our favorite Chanel shop. For out of this world, funky and unique finds: Harajuku and Shibuya—that place is cray! For intricate old world accessories and clothes: the streets of Mumbai is high up on our list.

Let’s say you could change the Little Black Dress staple to anything. What would it be?
Why, KILLER HEELS of course.
Imagine someone hating on your design on the spot, in your face. What’s the craziest/funniest comeback you’d snap back with?
“Sorry, what size did you say you were again?”

Would you sell your sole to the devil?
But the Devil already wears Prada…
