So much buzz about next week! From hints about the desginers’ shows to headliner Mario Maurer, everyone is itching for next week to get here! But before everything else, let’s answer the most important question on everyone’s minds, what are you gonna wear for Philippine Fashion Week?

Here’s a little cheat sheet of the top 5 trends we think you’d want to try out for this coming Fashion Week:

1. Platform shoes – It used to be sky-high wedges, but now we have the sneaky and still stylish way to look taller.
2. Lots and lots of arm candy – Seriously, in this case, more is better!
3. Embellishments – Studs, beading, even embroidery. Go subtle or loud, just make sure you balance it out with something with not as much bling on it.
4. Print mixing – Be bold and use color, too. But try to make sure that the prints are the same colors in order to avoid clashes, if not, look for a subtle print (like quiet black and white one) and mix it with a loud and colorful one (like a gorgeous animal print).
5. Silk Trousers – Another great way to look chic but still be comfy. Try it with a print (see trend #4) or choose a bright color.
