Girls just wanted have fun in fluos, neons, and décolletage in Tina Daniac‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. It featured a series of of dresses, form-fitting pencil skirts, and diving v-neck tops done in sequins and sparkle enough to make you think that you’re the belle of the disco ball. There were also some net-like dresses in floral patterns that had us taking a second look. We also couldn’t help but notice the saucy cutouts in the dresses underneath.
We have to say, though, that the show would not have been as striking as it was without the help of the fantastic vintage-inspired statement jewelry. From massive (if not heavy) chandelier earrings to draping opera necklaces fastened to the neck and waist, the overall collection juxtaposed youth with antiquity and we have to say, we’re digging the mix.—DEXYLEBOWSKI
