Fashion Week wouldn’t be complete without Veejay Floresca. So, despite an absence due to his busy school schedule at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Veejay showcases his collection with the help of “Team Veejay.” Surely those Skype dates with the team paid off well.
Right on time for the opening of The Great Gatsby this Christmas, Veejay gives a collection that takes us back to the wonderful decadence of the 20s flapper. Pieces in shades of salt and pepper took inspiration Art Deco with beaded patterns on sheer boxy tops and skirts to give it a modern touch. He grounds his collection with subtle details like high collars and uneven hems on jackets and sleeves, giving it that signature Veejay architectural touch. – LADYZAZA
