One of the biggest rock bands in the world will be releasing their latest album weeks from now and they’ve enlisted a Beatle and the “world’s biggest popstar” to collaborate with them. It was already announced that Sir Paul McCartney played drums on a track for Foo Fighters’ album Concrete and Gold, but a few days ago, it was also revealed that Justin Timberlake is going to be part of the said record. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, frontman Dave Grohl said that the band would hangout with Justin during their downtime from both their recording sessions at the L.A. EastWest Studios. During his last night of recording, Justin reached out to the band and asked whether he can sing in one of the tracks just for bragging rights to his friends, which the band obliged.
Concrete and Gold will be Foo Fighters’ ninth studio album and will be out on September 15, 2017. Check out the latest track of the Foo Fighters “Sky is a Neighborhood.” – THE D
