Down at Chiang Mai, Thailand’s Gallery Seescape, a relationship is brewing over a cup of tea and an array of functional art and workshop hubs. We featured them in our Art over Mind issue because we like the idea of plugging in our Ipod into a painting and sharing in the artists “moment or even creating [our] own aesthetic.”
It’s a place where a sense of community is fostered as the artists are “trying to share [their] lifestyle” with their viewers, especially in Malateh. Here, various workshops are offered from film making to flower arranging all taught by renowned artists. It’s “open for everybody who wants to share and learn.”
Unlike museums that are “untouchable and difficult to understand” with its friendly demeanor Gallery Seescape is definitely beautiful and approachable as it is functional. -SENORICA
