We’ve feasted on sumptuous food and opened our presents, now it’s time we prepared for the Apocalypse (even if that means partying till the clock hits midnight on 2012.) But assuming that the world will still keep on turning, we’d like to know what your other favorite bloggers plan to change this coming year.
Blogger buds Bjorn Bedayo and Vern Enciso both have had opportunities to grace our beloved statusmagonline.com and STATUS Magazine itself. Bjorn was one of the winners for the Oxygen PFW Holiday 2011 correspondent contest, while Vern, after being featured in our April issue’s Penshoppe Summer Street Chic advertorial, decided to join the STATUS team as a Sales and Marketing intern.
A few months have passed and we’ve catching up with the dapper duo to see their status after STATUS. -LADYZAZA
If you two were to switch lives for a day, what’s one thing you’d do that the other won’t dare to in a million years?
Bjorn: Take outfit photos of myself wearing house clothes! Whenever I go to her place, I tell Vern that I’ll take a photo of her in her house clothes, post it online, and call it “A Shoe Tale scandal.” Haha!
Vern: Hook up with Anne Curtis and tell the whole world about it. Haha!
Both of you had the chance to be part of the STATUS team at one point, how was it?
B: It was a great and fulfilling experience to be able to be one of STATUS’s correspondents for OXYGEN’s show two seasons ago. I never expected to write for STATUS before the opportunity came. I’ve been reading STATUS since high school and I’ve been a fan ever since. I hope that I’ll be given a chance to write again for you guys.
V: Working for STATUS always doesn’t feel like working at all. It’s always fun and fulfilling!
What would you save for each other if the world started rambling in 2012?
B: Sushi, goto, puto pumbong and froyo!
V: Bjorn’s bowties. If those get lost, my God, it will definitely be the end of the world for him. Haha!
What are your New Year’s resolutions for each other in 2012?
B: Break free from everything. Yeah!
V: Bjorn to finally have a break and be known worldwide for his talent in photography.

V: A street urchin! It would be nice to see how Bjorn would “Bjornjize” one. And imagine someone who wears blazers and bowties almost everyday wearing slippers and ripped clothes. Haha!
