In any and every fashion show, perhaps even more when you’re not going solo, without a doubt you have to make noise. During the Luxe Wear Collection parade, one designer stopped me at my tracks and hit me with a KISS. And his name was Herbert Custodio. As a definite homage to the 70′s fire-breathing, pyrotechnic-exploding, sword-swallowing, and (rumored) tongue-splitting, rock band KISS, this designer pulled no stops to reaching extravagance.
It was drawn in with a rocker-edge color motif (black and white, with loud contrasts against red, turquoise and purple), and glaring graphics from stamped bods on half-vests (if that’s what you can call them), to prints of the band themselves. Done every rock music head proud, Custodio brought back the flamboyance, loud and mthrfckn proud. And more so when you realize, that all of these ‘fits? Were made of t-shirts. Sliced, cut, and sewn back all together again to rock something great-est.
With every step each model took and every smirk each print shook, the collection got me singing, “Oh, cause anytime is kissin’ time, so treat me right, Don’t make me fight, And we’ll rock and roll tonight!” - KAYCE
