Released last July in Manila before releasing in Hong Kong around mid-September, J-Hoon‘s (Kjwan, Kapatid) latest album Noodles is possibly one of the first hip-hop/soul vinyls out there that was produced, mixed, and mastered in Asia by an Asian. Quite a mouthful, isn’t it? But preview the tracks over at his Bandcamp and you’ll find out that it’s quite an earful, too. Featuring collaborations with artists like Nimbus 9, Ill-J, Julianne, June Mariezy, Justin De Guzman, Nights of Rizal, and Angelo Mendez, J-Hoon’s album drops the grooves that make you move like they did in the Manila Music Festival 2012.
But don’t take our word for it. Hear the music for yourself when J-Hoon goes ’round the metro for a bar tour.
