JanSport has expanded its global collaboration to 21 participating retailers this year. And it was Sole Academy that had the privilege of designing a customized patch—drawn from the presidential seal, played up with details that represent what the store stands for—to represent the Philippines. The design was released in limited edition patches applied to JanSport’s original Right Pack in Black.
The launch at Sole Academy yesterday was casual. The venue was lit up in red and blue lights for a patriotic theme. While the guests were greeted warmly and offered with a wide array of snacks and drinks, it was the pretty upbeat music and the games that had us stay longer. The winners scored one of the coveted Limited Edition JanSport Right Packs and a one-of-a-kind SA cap. Of course, no one went home empty-handed as Sole Academy generously gave away souvenirs. Such kind hearts.
P.S. There are only 22 packs released, 2 of which have already been sold yesterday. So if you wanna travel the world and collect all 21 designs, better get on the one here first—and fast.—MICHELLE MA BELLE
