French illustrator Jean Jullien illustrated John Lennon’s number one hit for a picture book project. The song “Imagine,” written and sung by the iconic Beatle, has been transformed into a visual treat by Jean in collaboration with Amnesty International. The said project will be published on September 21, in time for the UN’s International Day of Peace.
The book centers on a pigeon who’s on a mission to spread the message of unity among her fellow birds. The book is also supported by John’s widow, Yoko Ono, who wrote a foreword. Jean Jullien was one of STATUS’ Heavy Hitters and you can read his interview here. – THE D
