Our current cover girl Lady Gaga gets into an interesting talk at MTV with British knitwear designer Craig Lawrence. Check out what’s she wearing and what she’s threatening to wear, hah!

Lady Gaga: My stage performance is not a fantasy. It’s just who we are.

Craig: Everybody else is just a little bit slow.

Lady Gaga: Yeah, exactly. It’s often [that] I say, “Well, that’s just boring.”

Craig: It’s not doing anything.

Lady Gaga: It’s not going anywhere. People say, “Lady Gaga is kooky…or avant-garde.” But we’re not this way for the sake of being… When we’re done, we go, “Oh, it’s beautiful. It’s the future. It’s amazing.” When I write the song…I just wrote the song for my re-release…it’s called The Fame: Monster… The idea of life after The Fame is a monstrous life, a life of horror, and building that idea of that 1950′s monster movie. For some people, they think it’s a bit wacky, but for the Haus [of Gaga], we think it’s beautiful… You’re not trying to create a fantasy. For you, it’s your zero.

Craig: People will be wearing it one day.

Lady Gaga: I would wear your clothes any day.
