American indie band LANY is back in Manila for the second time this year, and Filipino fans are ecstatic. The Trio is set to perform live at the Ayala Malls from August 4, 5 and 6 as they promote their recently released, self-titled debut album.
In a press conference held in Holiday Inn Hotel in Makati City, lead singer Paul Klein notes that the band is very excited, as Manila has become one of their “favorite cities” so far because the Filipino crowd is “extremely wild.” When asked about the newly released album, Klein states the current goal of LANY as their band’s name becomes more known to different sides of the world. He notes, “We want to reach more people, play more shows, and make people happy.”
The members of the band also assured that their debut album, which took 15 months to create is the “best of what they have.”
LANY will be performing in Glorietta on August 4, Greenbelt and Alabang Town Center on the 5th, and Market Market and Trinoma on their last day, which is on the 6th of August. –MARTIN GARRICH
