Almost exactly twenty-two years have passed since Larry Clark’s first and most iconic 1995 film Kids premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Also the debut of several artists like Rosario Dawson, Harmony Korine, and icon Chloë Sevigny, the indie coming-of-age heavy drama made waves with its graphic content and “too real” moments at the height of the AIDS epidemic.
Still clutching at our pearls and heartstrings, the film’s influence isn’t dead. With its retro ’90s grunge sound echoing through the clubs, streets, and house parties around NYC, we get to experience the whole soundtrack on vinyl–in four different colors, just like its poster. Check out the OST, and put your name down for a vinyl at Discogs.–JANROE THE BOAT
