I’m pretty sure you’ve heard by now that His Airness Michael Jordan is gracing the cover and will be available on the hardwood for gameplay of this year’s installment of the ever evolving NBA 2k series.

Hailed as the best basketball simulation experience out on the market, the guys from 2K Sports and Visual Concepts beefed-up the already impressive videogame with a new game mode called, “The Jordan Challenge” that allows you to follow and play as Jordan in 10 of his career accomplishments, there’s also “MJ: Creating A Legend” wherein you can take control of MJ as a rookie and guide him to the basketball legend that he is, which is actually pretty cool because you’ll see his progression as a player, and as you achieve feats and milestones through out this mode you’ll be awarded and would be able to equip him with Jordan Shoes.

Other upgrades includes; the ability to play with some classic teams from the past like the 90’s Lakers, Bulls, Trail Blazers and Rockets on their own classic stadiums. Player DNA for life-like player tendencies and personality. But the most exciting innovation to this game for me is the enhanced broadcast and presentation that would make the game closer to the real broadcast on NBA on TNT where we could see players walking from their team buses as they enter the arena during pre-game and of course play Jordan against Kobe or ‘Bron to see who really is the G.O.A.T.
NBA 2k11 will be released on October 5, 2010 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, and PC.—JAYRICHKID
