Time to shake off the Monday blues and keep yourself hyped up ‘cause we’re gonna push the accelerator of exhilaration for you.
I know, I know. Weekdays usually mean that it’s time to push the stop button on fun and hit the lever on real life. But hey, with a good beat and a party-spirit that just won’t die, you just might be able to turn that dreaded week start to a Manic Monday.
Here are a few tunes to help set the mood.
“SHAKE” — Little Boots
I’m stuck on repeat with this track from English electropop singer/songwriter Victoria Christina Hesketh or better known as Little Boots. Her echoing acoustics serve as a great accompaniment to the otherwise sharp and mood-setting beats. Stomp it up with this beat, ladies.
“WE CAN’T FLY” — Aeroplane
Belgian music imprint Aeroplane is known for incorporating a mix of French House and Balearic Beat. This track however features a likely fusion of house, electronic and reggae that will surely make you want to rip your own clothes and head on to the seashore. Smooth and striking, be sure to put this song on that beach playlist.
“BLUE JEANS (RAC REMIX)” — Lana Del Rey
Lana Del Ray is effortless, profound and beautiful. I love her, so do her songs. And when RAC touched her Blue Jeans, I can’t help but enjoy what I’m hearing (no pun intended). Getting an equal share from two outfits, this remix is absolutely ON POINT. Period.
“A REAL HERO (DJ MEGAMAN & PANIC CITY REMIX)” College ft. Electric Youth
YOLO, right? In search for the best musical synergy, this trance rendition of College and Electric Youth’s “A Real Hero” by DJ MegaMan & Panic City surely lives up to that moment. It’s always delightful to tweak things up by adding a substantial amount of youthful club flair, and this version best represent that situation.
“HEARTBREAKER” — Steve Aoki ft. Lovefoxxx
CSS muse Lovefoxxx is a heart breaker, at least for this accompanying visual with Steve Aoki. In search for that perfect partner, Lovefoxxx literally broke the Tony Stark-esque hearts of few lads. As expected, Aoki and Lovefoxxx are the suitable partners. But we would care less on the visuals anyway ‘cause the musical tandem is a match made in heaven. – ROLLIE POLLIE OLLIE
