Veteran designer Marc Jacobs is taking the brand back to its Brooklyn roots for F/W17 Collection. Shot by New York-based photographer, Tyler Mitchell, the collection is an homage to Brooklyn culture as it emphasizes the distinct, vibrant energy of the borough. To make things more “Brooklyn,” the lookbook features layouts set in brick walls, vintage convertibles, busy streets, as well as aged, concrete buildings.
Modeled by street-cast locals, diverse models, and the photographers’ friends, the collection includes colorful tracksuits, fur-lined jackets, oversized sweaters, and classic statement jewelry which all capture Marc Jacobs’ elaborate aesthetic. See snaps from the lookbook below. – MARTIN GARRICH
