Bangkok-based brand Milin sure knows how to put on a good show. Inspired by the high-octave glamour of the great Italian opera houses, their newest collection will put your style on center stage.

Drama. Drama. Drama.
Who doesn’t love a good show?
Stage of Mine, Milin’s newly released Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, is all about dressing the part of a theatrical star. “The inspiration for Stage of Mine derived from visiting several theaters in Milan, Italy. All theaters are magnificent but the most impressive one is La Scala (Teatro alla Scala in Italian). With all the decoration and atmosphere that can take us back to the time when people elaborately dressed up for a sartorial event in the theatre. We would like to turn back time, but of course with modernization twist,” says Milin Yuvacharuskul, one of the three designers for the brand.

The collection holds true to its nostalgic nods to the bygone era of full-on glamour—from the androgyny of tailored coats, shorts and shirts matched with playfully oversized bow-ties to the delicate femininity of form-hugging cocktail dresses with flowing embellishments draped in the style of the closing curtains.
