carpetCut and paste goes to a whole new level when TUP Alumni and Pilipinas Street Plan member, Neil Arvin Javier aka A.lien goes through recyclables. Creating large scale collages from found paper products such as pizza boxes, stickers, magazines, he concludes his work with paint or graffiti making an intriguing collection.

Ingrained with urban Pinoy influences, A.Lien’s street art goes on canvas entitled The End Is The Start of a New Beginning that’s to be exhibited over at Secret Fresh.

Opening will be highlighted by pioneer sound artist Lirio Salvador of Elemento with experimental instruments from metal pipes, stainless steel, bicycle parts and industrial materials. The experience is sure to be psychedelic and edgy. See you at Secret Fresh, located at G/F RONAC Art Center, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills on November 13, Sunday at 6PM.–ROBIN SPARKLES
