Indeed you can say that the title does speak for itself. Nothing to Declare is an indie initiative art administer group consisting of professors who’re teaching Art Studies in prestige schools here in Manila. 3 of them just went out for coffee, ended up brainstorming, and then BOOM–just like that, they came up with 3 exhibitions in time for the -ber months ’til the early start of 2012. Although the first exhibition’s done, you can still catch the last two.

This Wednesday (Nov. 16)  is the start of the second exhibition at the Yuchengco Museum curated by no other than Claro Ramirez. The third exhibition (Nov. 18) will be at the Vargas Museum, University of the Philippines and will be curated by Leo Abaya. To complete the core of this Nothing To Declare team are Professor Sharon Mapa Arriola (School of Design and Arts, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde) and of course Professor Tessa Guazon (Department of Art Studies, UP).
