Mix one awesome brand and boutique together and you’ll get yourself a collection to watch out for. Opening Ceremony and Levi’s are in for collaborations starting this Spring 2010, mixing the former’s uniquely modern aesthetic to Levi’s detailed craftsmanship.
Expect a lot of corduroys in pastel colors, layered tops, trucker jackets, button down shirts, pants and shorts since this collection is inspired by the “habitual spring migration of New Yorkers to scenic upstate countryside.” Not to mention that the visuals for this series were created by STATUS Photo Issue heavy hitter Ryan McGinley. Suffice to say, it’s all about movement, color, youthful energy, and effortless cool. The collaboration will be launched in Opening Ceremony’s retail stores in NY, LA, and Tokyo next month while the collection will be available in the Levi’s flagship store in San Francisco, then also in Union Square. It will retail for $106-$178 in the US. Visit their website to stay tuned on where the full collection’s available. -TINDABS
