The Oxygen Correspondents, Agnes Elia and Bjorn Bedayo, let you in on what it’s like to be a Fashion Week VIP–getting their hair and makeup done by the pros, getting interviewed on camera and of course, their coveted front row seats.
It was interesting to go backstage to check out the Models’ wardrobe, hair, and makeup. We were able to see every detail of clothes and shoes. I was actually lucky enough to try on one some of them. Bjorn and I had our hair and make-up done for the show by L’Oreal. The following activity was to get ourselves ready for the front row since we represented Status. And the time came, when everyone had to remain silent, and enjoy the show on the runway. All eyes were on the models while The Misshapes were spinning. The attendees got into an indie chic classic atmosphere. Everything was calm and ended successfully. –Agnes Elia
After our short interview with Jeff, we went backstage to have our hair and make-up done and to see at first hand the Fall/Winter collection of Oxygen. There were three parts in their latest collection: concrete tailoring, contrast panels, and free-form knits. Seeing the clothes in detail before they got presented on the runway was a privilege only a few could get, and I was lucky enough to be one of them. I fell in love with the contrast panel shirts and blazers and I will definitely buy them as soon as they get released in their stores this August! From witnessing the busy backstage, we went to the front row. After grabbing a few cocktails and interviewing the very stylish attendees of the show, it was time that for everyone to see the clothes come to life. Their video started and The Misshapes started spinning. It was twenty minutes of groundbreaking perfection for Oxygen and Jeff ended the show. I saw appreciation on the faces of fashion editors and buyers that were seated on the first row, and to the fashion enthusiasts and bloggers as well. I’m sure everyone enjoyed watching the most-anticipated fashion show this season. –Bjorn Bedayo
