It’s that time of the year again for the new breed of Filipino filmmakers. Cinemalaya 2009 is just around the corner, but before the 5th year bout this July, last year’s audience choice, best screenplay, director, actress, and supporting actress winner 100 is showing at no less than MoMA NYC for the Indio Bravo Film Festival this June 11. Together with Cannes 2009 Best Director Brillante Mendoza’s Slingshot and other indie hits like Jay and Melancholia, there are more than a hundred reasons to catch this if you’re in NYC. • Louis Vuitton’s Temporary Store in Tokyo

    Interior Design, Louis Vuitton, Tokyo

Published on Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Louis Vuitton recently opened their new store in Tokyo. This temporary/underground store is unlike any other Louis Vuitton boutique we’ve seen before. It’s concept is completely different, although it’s still clean, it lacks the hardwood glamour we’ve gotten so accustomed too. This raw somewhat factory-esque store’s concept is completely different from the Louis Vuitton stores we’ve gotten so used too. We wonder what they’ll come up with next?

  • Man vs. Machine

New York based fashion house Man vs. Machine, releases their F/W 2009 Collection on a mission to give us a glimpse of things yet to come. Blocks of black and red take over the line, throwing our way nothing but dauntless and spunky apparel that’s sure to watch out for.
