CLOT, the Hong-Kong-based crew is celebrating the 5th anniversary of their store, Juice. Kazuki and Levi’s are helping CLOT blow out their baby’s birthday candles with a collaboration called the 505 Gold KzKlot Denim. Having previously worked on the Platinum a month ago, they’re teaming up again for an even bigger project. The 505 Gold KzKlot Denim’s got details, customizations, and the partners’ logos and tags. All in gold. Zippers, buttons, and rivets like Midas had his hands all over them. The denim’s distressed aesthetic also has a hint of the precious metal. The CLOT x Levi’s 505 Gold KzKlot 5th Anniversary Denim will be released on May 15 only at Juice and will retail for HK$4180.

When it comes to retail, store design is just as important as the clothes themselves. Check out designer Derek Lam‘s his first boutique in lower Soho. We love the minimalist take approach executed by architect group Sanaa. Built on the ground floor of an old manufacturing building, the boutique is filled with custom- made wood and aluminum furniture, as well as four acrylic “bubbles” that section off the clothes and accessories. To add privacy, one of the “bubbles” is decorated with a golden curtain. What a fantastic, light touch of color to add to the store’s clean surroundings.

Koi to the Japanese are a symbol of love and friendship. Reebok loves their fish and in celebration of Children’s Day last week, the brand released the Freestyle Koi Nobori Pack. In Japan, koinobori are wind-socks in the shape of carp that are flown for this special day for kids every year.
