SaGuijo on Guijo St. was filled with Paranoid City’s avid supporters and friends who were enjoying the night with a couple of cold beers and the tunes from some of Manila’s best independent bands. The night started off with music by Stranger Danger, Tanya Markova, and SiNyMa (Silverfilter, Nyko Maca, Madz Abubakar), and Tarsius. In between acts, 8-bit and 4TRACK would keep the crowd in check for the next performers. At one point, they even gave a shout-out to STATUS! They showed off their feature (page 60) in our May 2012 Obsession issue (look for Jim Sturgess on the cover) to the crowd, and urged them to buy copies of our mag. We got a plug! Thanks, guys!

Directed by Robert ‘Bob’ Lyren, the video featured bits and pieces of Manila, places we all recognize and are familiar with, and the band just having fun on this current ride. Those at Saguijo last Thursday night were the first ones to catch a glimpse of it. But if you missed it, here it is! —WHO’S YOUR DANI?
