Seunghee Lee literally thought out of the box for LEYII’s Spring 2013 collection. Taking inspiration from the structure and the different points of view of boxes based on the works of Korean abstract painter Bong Tae Kim (Google him folks!), LEYII’s newest offering served models in minimalist looks.
With a strategic and clever use of colors such as black, white, khaki, orange, and pink, some of the pieces look geometrically three-dimensional. They were eye-catching and very cool to look at, I must say.
Despite its relative clean and crisp aesthetic, the collection still balanced its refinement with a bit of sexiness that we absolutely love, especially in those sleek floor-length skirts and sheer tops.—LET’S GET LAO
