Quirky shoe designer Minna Parikka teams up with artist Jani Leinonen for an iconic toon explosion featuring our favorite cartoons and breakfast cereal mascots.

There’s Cap’n Crunch, Koko Krunch, the Rice Krispies elves Snap, Crackle & Pop, Hello Kitty, Tony the Tiger, the Trix and Nesquik bunnies, Dora the Explorer, and Doraemon (to name a few).  I think I spy an Angry Bird in there, too.  Spot the others!

This awesome art installation and optical illusion is part of the Boutique exhibition at the Amos Anderson Art Museum which will run up to the 12th of November for the Helsinki World Design Capital Year.

Available in three different styles in sizes 36-41, these satin shoes are all signed and numbered in series of 25.  The duo say that they’re art, and they can’t control what you do with them. “Frame them or wear them!” —ME LOVE YOU LOONG TIME
