SM Accessories continues to ride the streak of amazing, fashionable, but affordable releases, and it was high time that STATUS celebrates with them for their first media launch at One Esplanade, Mall of Asia last week.

I wore jeans with Docs that day since it was raining like hell. And, well…I’d like to think I’m not normally stupid, but I forgot to bring dress shoes! Whatever. You can’t let a dressed down outfit get in the way between you and a fashion show. There was a horde of fashionable, dressy people, a nice window display, and a circular runway with silhouette cut-outs that hung about.

Before the show, VP of SM Accessories Mr. John Kenner Chua welcomed us with a speech: “To date, SM Accessories is the only retail channel carrying the widest and most complete line of fashion accessories. No other store comes close to what we showcase in terms of sheer magnitude, variety and style! And now that SM Accessories is here, you’ll never have to look elsewhere for all your fashion accessories because we have them all.”

Rock an LBD or a unitard with more swag by layering accessories from WWW.

SM proved the myth about men having fewer reasons to accessorize than women wrong.

Then the lights went off and out came Batman, Ironman, and Bumblebee (my favorite part of the show) to welcome the kids modeling for the Children’s accessories. Very adorable.

Celebrities like Sam Pinto, Priscilla Meirelles, Mariel Rodriguez, Sam Concepcion, Megan Young, Cheska Garcia, Tim Yap, and Kris Lawrence closed the show.
Items like eyewear, hats, necklaces, bags, bangles, earrings, belts, scarves, hair accessories, and styles that range from bohemian, glam, romantic, to cosmopolitan, and street are all you need (and SM has ‘em) to style yourself however way you want. There were a few technical problems, and horrible rain the entire night, but SM Accessories still owned it. Special thanks to Tinnie Esguerra!—HITGIRL
