He roams the streets under the moniker Space Invader. He’s successful in that feat since most of his street art can be seen in cities all over the world. As he reaches his 1000th mosaic, an exhibit aptly named ’1000′ with his works will be featured at La Générale, Paris all the way until July 2. Check it out here.
Remaining anonymous ’til God-knows-when, Space Invader continues to amaze the world with his colorful 8-bit inspired street art reminding us of those countless days playing Nintendo games and Rubik’s cubes.
Opening last Saturday and will last until July 2, French art gallery La Générale will be featuring Space Invader’s works. Under the name ’1000,’ the gallery will be filled from photographs and stickers to installations and even a pinball machine to commemorate his skills as a graphic street artist.
We wonder where Space Invader will strike next with his art work number 1001. That, we’ll wait for in the streets. But for now, we’ll look to his first batch of refreshing creations. -CECE
