If you still have a Darth Vader toy stuck in your brain, then you’ll surely get a kick out of this, ’cause Lucasfilm just revealed the first look at the cast of the still-untitled Han Solo spinoff film. Featuring a much cleaner Millenium Falcom cockpit , the photo sees Alden Ehrenreich aptly wearing a leather jacket alongside Donald Glover (who’s making his momma proud), directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, with 6’10” Finnish basketball player Joonas Suotamo, who body doubled for Peter Mayhew in The Force Awakens, as Chewbacca.
With Lord and Miller at helm, the principal photography on the upcoming Star Wars Story had officially begun last February 20 at Pinewood Studios, London. According to Star Wars‘ official site, the movie is set to “explore the duo’s adventures before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, including their early encounters with that other card-playing rogue from a galaxy far, far away, Lando Calrissian.”
The untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story is slated to be released in this galaxy, but in a time far, far away, specifically on May 25, 2018.–STUCK-UP, HALF-WITTED, SCRUFFY-LOOKING NERF HERDER
