Isolated from the two-dimensional construct of gender, model JUSTIN LLARENA tears up the dichotomy and shows us his true shade of beauty and love for art.
1. Margiela top
I literally screamed when I first saw this top from a thrift store because not only is it Margiela, but it’s also a kimono-blazer hybrid. It pretty much sums up my androgynous look.
2. Skull perfume
I don’t really like the smell of this perfume, but the packaging caught my eye so I bought it. It’s just adds to the aesthetic of my room.
You can never go wrong with a classic pair of black boots.
4. Skin care
I can’t live without sunscreen to prevent aging, hyper pigmentation, erythema, and whatnot.
Benzac is my emergency spot treatment with a custom-made apple cider vinegar toner. It’s an overnight miracle.
5. Makeup Kit
I use the MAC lip liner in “Soar” even though I’m not into lip products, because this is the perfect shade for me.
Anastasia Brow Wiz is also perfect because I already have thick brows, but the tails are sparse and it’s excellent for mimicking hair-like strokes to keep the naturally-filled and feathered look.
My compact mirror is more essential than water.
6. Pure Heroine by Lorde
Nothing beats this album! It’s been four years since her underrated song “White Teeth Teens” was released and I still can’t get over how it makes me want to throw on a bathrobe, put on a crown, and have a solo dance party in my room 24/7.
7. The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware and Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver
If I could give The Woman in Cabin 10 more than five stars, I would! If you know me personally, I love reading and collecting psychological thriller books and this one is top-notch.
I have a love-hate relationship with Vanishing Girls because it’s quite slow and predictable. However, I fell in love with Nicole’s character because we are pretty much alike.
8. Illustration notebook
Whenever I’m sad or bored in class, I always draw because I can’t stand doing nothing.
9. Film camera
I love taking pictures because it’s one of the ways to immortalize beauty before it’s lost in time.
