It’s official! STATUS Magazine’s Music Issue is out in stores now! Grab a copy of our latest record-breaker featuring cover boy Joel Madden (Been getting awesome feedback since the reveal), Robyn, Diplo, Born Ruffians, New Pornographers and a whole lot more. Thanks to those who came to party with us at last Friday’s release. And to those who couldn’t make it, or to the ones who just wanna relive it, here’s what went down…

The setting: Republiq Club, Resorts World. Outside, a winding queue of people waiting to get in.Velvet ropes. Chic suits. Fierce dresses. A tiny glimpse of what was to come. Inside, tan leather couches, thumping speakers, cocktails (keep ‘em comin’), and of course, the wooden floors that we could barely see under the mass of fist-pumpers and booty-shakers. Awesome.

It was the perfect venue for our release. Mad music, mixed personalities, and major good vibes. Thanks again to that awesome SOIREE hosted by Styles Entertainment, and to DJs BCal and Ace Ramos for the tunes. We met a lot of people, funked it up, and basically had a brilliant time despite, ahem, misplaced phones and stomped-on toes. So we’ll see you at the next party, eh?—GIO DIONISIO
