Other people seem more passionate than artist Leeroy New and fashion designer Kermit Tesoro in claiming credit for this Lady Gaga-donned silicone muscle dress piece featured on a magazine cover this month.

All I know is that it was based from a piece in their collaborative show for Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010, presented in the context of a shared vision. Last week, New released Caraface, a series of facemasks (see above) done in the same style. Why not? New always had this visceral streak in his solo work. Tesoro, meanwhile, continues to develop more clothes and even presented his own art project in an exhibit last month. What’s the issue?!
