Dynamic duo Joey and Mon of Team Manila just opened their new store in Rockwell. “We wanted to make it a lifestyle brand. We’re doing good in Archeology but having a bigger space enables us to be more progressive,” they said. Getting inspiration from the brand Urban Outfitters, Team Manila is the city’s youth culture mouthpiece. Following the lead of their icon Rizal, the brand itself is becoming more iconic in each turn.

“We want to tell a story about Manila, through Manila,” so once you enter the store, you’d be seeing all sorts of items that reflect the nuances of living in the city. There are cool stuff ranging from notebooks, laptop bags, umbrellas up to their famous lineup of awesomely designed shirts of course. The twist is, that’s not all! You need to be the one to discover the other gems this brand has in store for you!

Influenced by music and skateboarding, the opening had a performance from hip hop band Miscellaneous! Sandwich’ frontman Raimund Marasigan also came, showing us how influential the brand is, that whether you’re in Manila or not, you can still be a part of the ‘Team.’ Cool. -TINDABS
