This season, followers of the local fashion industry are about to welcome a beautiful barter: Philippine Fashion Week, an event which has championed local Philippine fashion for fourteen years and running, partners with a French beauty brand for the Holiday 2011 show.
In their event held at the Manila Peninsula in Makati today, L’Oreal announced that they have clinched a deal with Philippine Fashion Week organizers, and that the global hair care and make-up label will provide their products to be used on the models who will go on stage from May 8 to May 15 at the SMX Convention Center and SM Mall of Asia.
“We at L’Oréal Paris are thrilled to be partnering with one of the biggest and longest running fashion event in the country,” said Luc Olivier-Marquet, Managing Director of L’Oréal Philippines. “Together with the people behind Philippine Fashion Week and its supporters, L’Oréal Paris’ vision of tomorrow’s beauty will resonate during the shows through the product lines that boast of high-quality which we will provide the make-up artists with.”
