Pamela Love and fellow offbeat designers Lindsey Thornburg, Samantha Pleet, Anna Sheffield, Meredith Kahn, and Mara Hoffman, have partnered with Bona Drag to bring us the Ceremonial Collection— for the bride who would, in place of a chapel aisle, rather march through a bed of wildflowers and hold the reception in a shaded meadow.
The collaboration brings us a selection of delightfully unconventional dresses in champagne velvet, black gothic lace, exquisitely beaded chiffon, and ivory silk in unexpectedly low cuts.
These mythic gowns are also cherry-topped by edgy and romantic pieces in quartz, garnet, tiger’s eye, both white and black diamonds, cascading chains, and woven Bliss Lau harnesses. One of our favorites among them is the coiled snake cufflink set from Pamela Love. Also, the Unearthen Crown Heirloom ring, with a set of three beautifully raw shards of quartz along diamonds on silver. This bewitching capsule collection evokes the magic in ceremony. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to find an Elfin prince to wed.—ME LOVE YOU LOONG TIME
