We’re back with another season of Philippine Fashion Week kicking off Day 1 with a bunch of meets and greets and ended it with The Ramp show.
What We Saw:
Some call it hi-low, others call it mullet skirts. We honestly don’t care because we’d rather not see you wear it. No joke. Whether it was to our left, to our right, or even right and three quarters, everywhere we looked there was one near in sight. Make up your mind and wear a mini or a maxi. Or better yet, just wear pants instead.
What We Heard:
As Gaga serenaded her crazy little monsters on the 2nd night of her Monster Ball, Zaza and the gang sat quietly in their seats watching the models come out on the runway.
Our EIC and a certain art intern however were fortunate enough to score tickets to the other big act of the night. We wish we were listening/watching the same thing.
What We Wore:
Our family seems to get bigger and bigger with each season. Meet the newest additions to the STAUS gang – our interns Dallas Deepkiss and Lostgirl, and photographer Ming Han Chung who flew all the way from NYC just to be with us. We’re feeling the love.
WTF:
SMX truly has been our home away from home during Fashion Week but it seems like we’ve overstayed our welcome. We are now officially homeless so don’t be surprised if you see a bunch of kids sitting in the hallways, staring into their laptops in-between shows. Anyone want to adopt us?—LADYZAZA
PS: Looks like someone missed our fashion editor Dizzyrizzy more than we did while she was away for vacay. We met up with this certain “bro” over burgers and french fries and he only had one thing to say. Watch out for it! We’ll be posting soon!
